Widening of the Kinau Street exit ramp from the H1 kokohead bound continues.  Expect lane closures daily from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

 

Soil sampling work for the rail transit project continues along the Farrington Highway median in Waipahu. The work requires some nighttime lane and intersection closures Sundays through Fridays between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. for both westbound and eastbound lanes. One lane of traffic in each direction along Farrington Highway will remain open during the work. 

 

Crews are working on roadside culverts along Round Top Drive and some slowdowns can be expected.  The work is being done weekdays between 8:30 and 3:30 and will continue through October. 

 

Work has started on the widening of Kalanianaole Highway in Hawaii Kai between Keahole Street and Hawaii Kai Drive.  A third lane is being installed to ease traffic turning west from Keahole.  The work will mean lane closures in the area and delays can be expected.  Completion is set for next March.

The two right lanes of the H1 eastbound will be closed tonight from the Makakilo interchange to Kualakai Parkway from 8pm until 4am.  (thru Friday morning)

 

There will be lane closures along the entire H2 freeway in both directions from 9pm until 4am for pavement marking.  (thru Friday morning)

 

On Wednesday night the two left lanes of the Moanalua freeway ewa bound will be closed from the Ahua Street overpass to Puuloa Road overpass from 10pm until 2am for sign repairs.  (Wed only)

There will be lane closures and slowdowns tomorrow on Kalanianaole Highway in Hawaii Kai for tree trimming work, eastbound, from Portlock Road to Lunalilo Home Road.  (Sat only)

 

Tomorrow night the Pali Highway will be closed Honolulu-bound from 7pm until 7 Sunday morning for tunnel maintenance.  (Sat only)

 

Expect delays today on Kalanianaole Highway from Lunalilo Home Road to Hanauma Bay from 8:30 to 3 for road work.  (thru Friday)

The speed limit along Kalanianaole Highway in the vicinity of Olomana School in Kailua has been lowered from 45 to 35 miles per hour because of a new school crosswalk in the area.

 

The two right lanes of the H1 townbound will be closed tonight from 8pm until 4am from the Makakilo interchange to Kualakai Parkway.  (thru Friday morning)

 

There will be multiple lane closures on the H2 freeway tonight in both directions between 9pm and 4am.  (thru Friday morning)

 

Expect delays today on Kalanianaole Highway from Lunalilo Home Road to Hanauma Bay from 8:30 to 3 for road work.  (thru Friday)

 

There will be lane closures today on Kamehameha Highway westbound in the vicinity of Pearlridge Center from 8:30am to 3pm for bus pad installations.  (thru Friday)

There will be some lane closures today between 8:30 and 3 at the intersection of Pali Momi and Kamehameha Highway for work on the sidewalks.  (Mon only)

 

On Tuesday night the left lane of the freeway ewa bound will be closed from the Likelike exit to the airport exit from 9pm until midnight for work on the signs.  (Tuesday only)

SPECIAL WEEKEND ADVISORY:

There are three big events that will affect traffic this weekend. Tonight Kalakaua will be closed in Waikiki for the Pan-Pacific Hoolaulea.  Kalakaua will be closed starting at 4:30 from Lewers to Kaiulani.  Tomorrow morning it’s the King Kamehameha Floral Parade.  This year it starts at Ft. DeRussy, goes along Ala Moana Blvd to Punchbowl and then up to Iolani Palace.  Streets along the parade route will be closed from 9am till 1pm.  And on Sunday it’s the Pan-Pacific Parade which will close Kalakaua through Waikiki starting at 5pm.  It goes from Ft. DeRussy to Kapiolani Park.
